[ Training ]

Since forming over 30 years ago, we have always taken our responsibility to provide industry-leading training very seriously. It not only ensures the quality of our work is consistently high, but it also means everyone can work in a safe environment.

We have always prided ourselves on the enhanced level of training we give to our apprentices, but we’ve recently taken our commitment to training one step further by investing in the cutting edge Civil Engineering Training Centre (CETC) at Fareham College.

CETC was established in 2017 with the aim of plugging a growing skills shortage that had been hampering the growth of civil engineering in the south east. The college is tackling the problem by giving apprentices hands-on experience in the day-to-day tasks they’d face on the job, ensuring they are much better equipped to go into a civil engineering career.

The college has partnered with groundworks and civil engineering companies of all sizes to ensure the students are able to complete their training in the real world. Our place among the college supporters highlights our focus of the bridging the skills gap in our industry. We frequently visit the site to support training and mentor apprentices, ensuring the scheme continues to provide outstanding training that mirrors real-world requirements and standards.
